Introduction to Micromax:

Micromax was established as an IT software company and launched their mobile phones in 2008 in India .It was one of the most popular and largest local Company making smartphones in India with economical rates in 2010. In 2014, Micromax introduced Cyanogen-based smartphones in India, with the brand name YU by collaborating with Cyanogen Inc and evolved as the tenth-largest smartphonecompany world widely in the third quarter concurrently. With YU brand Micromax presented health and fitness gadgets as well

          Tablets (two in one device) and LED TV’s are also included in the production list of Micromax. They are the first one to introduce Handsets with 30 days battery backup.  Micromax is known for selling rebranded Chinese phones in the country. Last smartphone launched by Micromax was iOne Note at the cost of Rs 8199 having 6.09-inch touchscreen and resolution of 720 pixels by 1560 pixels.

When a customer asked to produce our own local smartphone instead of using Chinses products, Micromax replied:

“We’re working hard internally and soon we will come up with something big. Stay tuned!”

 The great thing is the company which was silent from last year is now answering to most of the tweets of the customers.

According to Singh the comeback is difficult for Micromax as around 75 percent of the market is holding by top five brands only and make it very limited

·        Price of these new phones will be low, under Rs 10,000

·        According to another source they were going to use G90 but its price was really high so now they are going to use MediaTek helio G25 or G35

·        It will have finger print scanner at the back

·        May be one smartphone will have the facility of double camera and the other one with triple camera

·        In another tweet the agency said that it has thoroughly modern look and is budget friendly

·        They will be launched probably in the end of July or in August .

 

Micromax gave the information through Twitter about 3 new smartphones with the hashtags #MadeByIndia and #MadeForIndia but they don’t make it clear that either they are actually made in India or outsourcing from China.
